Inspired by 1940s US Navy denim trousers, the A Vontade VTD-0520-PT Military Trousers reinterpret the classic military silhouette with a comfortable easy-pants construction.

The trousers are made from a custom 9.5oz indigo denim, developed to reproduce the character of denim used by a Japanese workwear brand in the 1950s. The yarn features subtle, short slubby irregularities that recreate the occasional imperfections found in vintage denim. Nep yarn is used for the weft and dyed an understated ivory tone, giving the fabric a distinctive texture and depth as it ages.

The design takes cues from US Navy trousers, with a clean, minimal construction featuring patch pockets and a no-side-seam construction. This allows the fabric to fall naturally and cleanly from the hips through the hem, creating a relaxed, straight silhouette.
