Warehouse & Co. Lot S1003XX Jeans Limited Editon Jeans

A commemorative reproduction of Warehouse & Co.'s WWII-era denim, created to mark the brand’s 30th anniversary and explore how wartime restrictions fundamentally changed the construction of American jeans.

During World War II, the U.S. War Production Board redirected much of the textile industry toward military production. Mills were required to prioritize fabrics such as herringbone and sanforized drill, while civilian clothing manufacturers faced severe shortages of materials and increasingly strict restrictions on construction. Even denim looms were repurposed for military fabrics.

The result was a generation of jeans defined by necessity: rugged, straightforward, and utilitarian, with simplified details and an emphasis on making the most of available materials. Warehouse & Co. revisits this distinctive period with the Lot S1003XX, recreating the character of wartime denim while incorporating carefully researched period-inspired details.

For the first time, Warehouse & Co. uses Kurabo-made denim for this commemorative model. The 6.7 x 6.7 yarn-count selvedge denim is woven from 100% cotton and finished with a distinctive white-and-pink selvedge. Period-appropriate hardware, a vegetable-tanned leather patch, and a rayon woven name label complete the reproduction.
