The Studio D'Artisan D5745 Denim Shirt draws inspiration from kasane no irome - the traditional Japanese art of layering colors to create rich, shifting hues. Built on a 12oz unbleached slub denim, this piece uses natural dyeing techniques to give the textured base fabric a understated, vintage presence.

The Kuro-Beni version layers dark sumi ink over rich red iron oxide (Bengara). The result is a subdued, traditional black with subtle warm red undertones that subtly peek through the fabric as it moves and wears.
