This MA-1 jacket is crafted from 100% nylon that has been coated with indigo pigment, giving it a distinctive texture and finish. The natural unevenness and subtle markings - effects impossible to achieve with standard nylon - highlight the unique character of indigo dye. Production takes place at a trusted Japanese factory known for making souvenir jackets for U.S. soldiers stationed in Japan after World War II. The ribbing is made from circular-knit fabric, providing both comfort and long-lasting durability.
