Prince of Slub is a 23oz Japanese selvedge denim that continues the lineage of Naked & Famous' most aggressively textured fabrics, following in the footsteps of King of Slub and Emperor of Slub.
Like its predecessors, Prince of Slub features extremely slubby warp yarns that are heavyweight, irregular, and rich in surface variation. A newly developed weft gives this edition its own distinct identity within the Slub series.
Where King of Slub pushed texture through custom-developed uneven yarns and Emperor of Slub amplified it through slow, low-tension weaving, Prince of Slub refines the balance. The result is a denim with intense tactile depth, pronounced peaks and valleys, and irregularities that catch the light, emphasize fading patterns, and reward time spent wearing it.
The fabric is left unsanforized and loomstate, meaning it remains in its original state after weaving, without pre-shrinking or finishing treatments that compress the yarns. This preserves its raw slub character and allows the denim to shrink during washing and evolve dramatically with wear, delivering the transformation that defines the Slub series.
True Guy is a relaxed straight fit with a high rise. Comfortable through the seat, hips, and thighs, it has a straight leg from thigh to hem.
