This sashiko fabric is indigo-dyed at the yarn stage, with the sashiko stitching made from pre-dyed black threads. With wear, the black threads become more pronounced, developing a rich, characterful patina.

Based on a classic work shirt, the back features double action pleats on both sides, combining functional design with aesthetic appeal. A compact collar and a comfortably relaxed silhouette achieve both elegance and comfort in this shirt.

Just OK, mid at best. I expected heavy weight fabric maybe even half way to a Judo Robe. What turned up was a super light weight fabric , flimsy even. Poor fitting, short sleeve length like a Chinese cost cutting factory would do. XXL size fits like a medium to a smallish large would. Small cheap buttons, for a shirt that costs as much as a coat I hoped for larger wooden buttons or something that just says-quality. I wouldn’t buy it again.
