Lawford Utility Trousers Poplin Olive Drab

The Lot. Utility Trousers are inspired by post-World War II US Army uniforms, evolving from the M47 and later OG107 “baker pants” that became a defining silhouette of military workwear through the 1980s. This design focuses on the rare Vietnam-era “poplin baker” variation, reinterpreted with key 1950s detailing.

The trousers feature a relaxed wide-cut silhouette with large front and rear patch pockets, along with adjustable side waist straps for a functional, utilitarian fit. Construction details include double-needle chain stitching at key stress points, double-stitched side seams, and a concealed front fly for a clean finish.

Made from a lightweight yet durable olive drab cotton poplin developed from mid-century US military uniforms, the fabric is woven using combed cotton yarns for a soft hand feel with a crisp, breathable structure. It combines durability with a dry, airy texture, making it ideal for warm-weather wear.
