Benzak BWS-04 Scout Overshirt Duck Canvas Selvedge Brown

The BWS-04 SCOUT OVERSHIRT is a versatile shirt silhouette that can both function as a shirt and jacket, depending on the season. This makes this overshirt perfect for layering. The design is simple yet utilitarian and takes inspiration from scout styles. It features two large chest pockets with shovel-shaped flaps. The cuff slits are finished with a continuous strip for durability, and the bottom has a subtle curve.

Duck canvas is characterised by its tight weave and durability. This specific canvas fabric has been woven with two yarns together in the warp and a single yarn in the weft. The word ‘duck’ derives from the Dutch word ‘doek’ (meaning: cloth) and has a history older than blue jeans. BENZAK´s 9 oz. selvedge duck canvas is light in weight, but strong, and therefore suitable for all-year wear. It has been woven on a shuttle loom with a wider reach, creating a wider-than-normal selvedge fabric. To waste as less fabric as possible in cutting, we are only utilizing the selvedge on one part of the inside placket.
