BC-03 STRAIGHT CHINO is a pair of pants with a regular fit, high rise and straight legs. The pattern has been developed from our B-02 REGULAR STRAIGHT cut but may fit slightly different on the top block due to the lack of a back yoke; instead, it has darts to create shape. As opposed to the B-02, it has a curved waistband which creates a rounded top block for a comfortable fit that stays in place while avoiding unnecessary sagging. Together with the darts, the shaped waistband offers enough room for a comfortable wearing experience. Other details are its slanted front pockets, double welt back pockets, and a zip fly. The BC-03 STRAIGHT CHINO provides a versatile fit, perfect for both office and casual wear.
Benzak´s 10 oz. military reverse sateen fabric is a durable and densely woven textile. Historically it was commonly used in military and workwear garments. In reverse sateen, the opposite side of the fabric, where the weft (horizontal) threads are more prominent, is used as the face of the garment. This side typically has a more matte and textured appearance, making it better suited for utilitarian purposes. This construction provides excellent strength and resistance to wear, making it ideal for rugged use. Despite its durability, the fabric is soft and comfortable, suitable for everyday wear. Today, it is popular in workwear-inspired fashion, offering a timeless balance of functionality and style, like Benzak´s chinos and overshirts. It has been woven by Collect Mills in Japan.
