Benzak B-07 Relaxed Straight Kojima Selvedge Indigo 15.5oz

B-07 RELAXED STRAIGHT has been created using the same top black as the B-04 RELAXED TAPERED, but with an updated leg shape – instead of a taper, it has a straight silhouette. Just like the B-04, the B-07 has a tilted top block, creating a bigger than average difference between front and back rise, allowing for a comfortable and relaxed fit on the hips.

The 15.5 oz. Kojima Selvedge takes its name from Kojima, a rural town in Japan’s Okayama prefecture renowned for its denim production. Woven by Collect Mills, this traditional red-cast Japanese denim is made at low tension for added comfort and breathability.

The fabric features a slubby, uneven texture that adds depth and enhances its fading characteristics. Over time, the denim develops a bright blue tone with rich indigo nuances. Originally introduced in 2017 for a denim fading contest, it became part of the core collection the following year and marked the first Japanese fabric used in Benzak’s European-made line. Often seen as the Japanese counterpart to the 15.5 oz. RCI Selvedge, it shares a similar character while maintaining its own distinct identity.
