This leather jacket is based on a vintage leather jacket from the 1950s. Made of premium Horsehide, finished by Japan's Shinki tannery who is one of only two companies in the world that can handle everything from raw hide to finish. The unique tanning process makes the horsehide hard to break, and the more it is worn, the more its texture increases. By dyeing the base brown and then dyeing the surface further, you can enjoy the aging effect called "brown core", where the brown color of the base appears when the surface is rubbed over many years of wear. Furthermore the jacket was processed with "fatliquing", which adds a rich amount of oil, giving it a moist texture. For fattening, a special oil originally developed by The Flat Head is used. It's unscented, so there's no greasy smell or stickiness when you wear it.
