The TYPE A-11 was a design adopted by the US Army Air Corps during World War II and its contractors at the time were Bulova, Elgin, and Waltham. Testing began in 1937, and it was decided to become standard equipment in 1940, making it a representative model for the US Army Air Corps. The white Arabic numerals engraved on the deep black dial, similar to the instruments on fighter jets, are a minimalist design, and are details that boast extremely high legibility. Comes with green cotton strap.
