A reproduction of a pair of ultra-rare 501® jeans that were only produced from 1966 to 1971—until now. Made with both bar tacks and a Big “E” red tab. Bartack stitches are made to enforce the jean and preserved the garment's renowned durability. Double-needle arcuate stitching. Better clothes. Better choices. LVC made this garment with organically grown cotton, which uses no synthetic pesticides and saves water. Crafted in premium Japanese selvedge denim from the renowned Kaihara Mill. Made in Japan by expert artisans using traditional techniques.
These 1966 501® Jeans have a rounded top block and a tapered leg. Made from Shrink-to-Fit™ denim, they will shrink roughly two inches in the waist and two inches in the length if washed. This garment has gone through a unique dyeing process. Color transfer may occur onto other surfaces. This garment will fade and change appearance over time.
